When Dems Lose

When Dems lose, it's the start of a childish temper tantrum?

No matter how it’s addressed and from whom, the Republicans and Trump won in 2025. But politics being what it is, the Democrats are supposed to lambast every move the Republicans make, regardless of how their actions are being viewed by the public. That is the way all our politicians are supposed to act. It keeps the balance of power within the government from being abused. How would the government run if, when a new president’s term starts, everyone supports all the new president’s ideas? It might work if the new agenda is truly bipartisan. But let’s face the truth, Republicans have their values and Democrats have theirs.

“The Republican party still maintains long-time ideologically conservative positions on many issues. Traditional modern conservatives combine support for free-market economic policies with social conservatism and a hawkish approach to foreign policy.”

“Democrats support a more progressive tax structure to provide more services and reduce economic inequality by making sure that the wealthiest Americans pay more in taxes. Democrats believe the benefits of social services in monetary and non-monetary terms are a more productive labor force and cultured population, and believe that the benefits of this are greater than any benefits that could be derived from lower taxes, especially on top earners, or cuts to social services.”
